Carolina High Hot Air Balloon Company, LLC is owned by Randy and Jean Lee.  Both grew up in the area and continue to call  Benson, NC home.  Randy holds a Commercial Rating for hot air balloons and can find humor in anything he does.  Jean is very involved with the operation maintaining the schedule, managing crew operations and always finds the time to laugh.

Carolina High Hot Air Balloon Company, LLC caters to couple only flights.  While up to four persons can ride in the basket, Randy and Jean respect the fact that most people enjoy the flight with one other person of their choosing and, of course, the pilot.  This makes choosing Carolina High easy  for such occasions as birthdays, anniversaries, wedding fly-aways, marrige proposals, retirements and other couple oriented occasions.

They are very concerned about the reputation of their company when it comes to Safety and Customer Satisfaction.  Safety is the first priority when it comes to making flight decisions.  Pre-flight information concerning the weather conditions, the condition of the equipment and even how the pilot feels is always brought into consideration before each flight is conducted.  Passenger Information Sheets are forwarded to the passenger(s) by e-mail or US mail prior to the scheduled flight. The Passenger Infgrmation Sheets explains what may be encountered during a balloon flight.  After each flight, passengers are asked to complete a comment section on the flight log regarding their ballooning experience.

Randy and Jean will be accompanied by their wonderful Crew, can't forget the Crew.  Without the Crew, the balloon doesn't launch and pack-up very easy.  The Crew will assist Randy with balloon assembly, inflation and see the pilot and passengers off.  They will be there to welcome them back to Mother Earth giving a hand with the landing if needed and then pack and load the balloon into the trailer.

Randy, Jean and the crew make every effort to make the passengers feel at ease with what is usually a first time experience.  

Laughter is not at all uncommon around Randy, Jean and the Crew. 

If the passengers and landowner agree and when time permits, Randy shares the ballooning experience with neighborhood children.
